New Literature for Windpower Application Covers

Transhield, Inc. introduces a new 2-page literature sheet detailing their custom fit covers for windpower applications. The new sheet provides images of various applications in which the covers may be used.  Transhield covers are easy to install and the added ability to shrink the cover allows for a tight fit, resulting in quality protection from the factory to the field tower sections, root ends, blades and other products. These wind power storage covers and shipping covers also serve as an alternative for heavy, expensive custom tarps or conventional hand wrapping.

Transhield covers are made from Shrinkable Fabric™ and consist of three layers: an outer layer that is UV-resistant and anti-condensation, a middle adhesive layer and a soft inner layer. Transhield’s Shrinkable Fabric covers feature the patented Adhesive Additive Delivery – Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (AAD-VCI) system which provides 100% protection from corrosion during transportation and storage.
